Advocating for Hearing Access

Our Chapter is focused on ensuring that those with hearing loss are able to fully participate in their community through the use of assistive listening systems to enable them to hear their best in all circumstances.  We educate event sponsors about these systems and, where possible, assist with advice on the most appropriate solutions.  We also train our members on how to effectively advocate for their needs. Below are some examples of situations where we have been successful in helping to implement solutions that have benefitted community members by improving their ability to comprehend speech in different settings.  If you or an organization you know are planning a community event, please contact us for assistance.  If you are attending an event and are concerned about your ability to hear at it,
